"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Are you getting my messages???

Dear Friend ,

This is the second time i am writing you this.In my first message i told
you that i work with a big Bank here in my country. I had a client...an
expatriate who left a will of certain amount of money(To be disclosed
when/if i get a response from you) unclaimed for several years after his
death approximately 5 years, 3 months and 11 days now.

Since i have tried to no avail to find his next of kin from his country of
origin i seek to present a foreigner to my Bank as his next of kin and the
beneficiary of the said fund as the money is about to be transferred to the
Government treasury anytime soon as "Unclaimed Funds" a thing i wouldn't
like to see happen.Kindly help out.

I am delighted to inform you that all logistic that will make this
transaction a success has been taken care of internally by me in the Bank
as i would provide you with all necessary documents to make this hitch
free.I eagerly await your response to kick start the process.I would be
happy to entertain questions, doubts or comments from you.

Most importantly let me know if you are getting my messages.

Best Wishes,
