"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: PRIVATE CONFIDENTIAL CONTACT

Good day

I am Dr Abdul Saleh Joudah, the personal physician of late Moummar Gaddafi
of Libya, and his adviser on general health matters. I am under house
arrest in Tripoli. I have special information for us to utilize. No
telephone communications for now. I am under surveillance.

As his physician I worked with his personal banker to safeguard his
financial interests in and out of Libya. There are some things I want us to
discuss and negotiate: $49 Million US Dollars: Location: Madrid, Spain.
Bank-to-Bank Transfer. But we will first move out Two Million Dollars for
certain reasons which I will disclose to you. I can not do much from House
arrest, but I will give you the details of the bank so that you can contact
the bank directly.

I await your response.

Regards

Dr Abdul Saleh Joudah
