"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My Name is James Rogers, A principal partner of Capital Rescue Investments,
UK.

I am contacting you in regards to a client by name of Mr. James William
Tate. Mr. Tate has a hedge fund Investment which we have been looking after
for him.

This investment was initiated in March 2003 and the Investment is now worth
£2.8M (Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand Pounds) from the initial

Sadly, the client is now deceased since 2006 and we have not been able to
trace any of his next of kin till date. Which is why I am contacting you to
come forward so that I can present you as his Next of Kin to inherit this
Investment?

This is a very private and confidential matter, so I urge you to keep this
approach with utmost confidentiality. I can assure you this is totally risk
free because once you agree to come forward; all relevant processes and
documentations will be made to ensure that this Investment is transferred
to you as the legitimate Next of Kin.

Get back to me ASAP if interested for further details.

Regards,
