"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hi, It's my hope that my mail meets you well? to begin with, I'm barrister
Adulai Gano and I'm contacting you for us to work on a deal that involves
$8.7m(eight million, seven hundred thousand united states dollars). To be
frank and sincere friend, this fund in question belongs to my late client;
one Engr. Demian, a national of your country who dwelt and worked here in
Togo for more than 20 years as a gold business merchant and major
contractor. he died in a fatal car accident together with all the members
of his family, including his supposed next of kin in the month of June
2009. Recently, the Bank where he deposited this fund gave me a mandate to
provide his next of kin or any member of his family to claim this fund or
else the fund would be forwarded into the Government account and becomes
Government fund, and this I do not want to happen after all my labour for
years but another problem is that all my effort to trace any member of his
family/relative since his death has been unsuccessful.

So friend this is the reason why I embarked on this mission to find someone
of the same Nationality/last name with him so we can work together to claim
this fund

Thanks in advance as I await your positive response oto my proposal.

Brotherly yours,

Adulai Gano (Esq)
