"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

After going through your profile, I select you but let  me  introduce my very self to you.  In fact I am  Sandra Assogba,  I am 20 years old and a Citizen of Cote d'ivore. I am the only child of late Mr John Assogba, who was the director general of cocoa export corporation of Cote D'ivoire and was killed by the rebel forces here in my country cote d'ivoire during a political war. While my father was rushed to the hospital unconsious due to the torture and bullet wounds he quickly sent for me as the only born daughter before his untimely death,  he told me all about  this money  which  he deposited  in a bank in my Mother country Togo.
But as you may be already aware by now, my country (Cote d'Ivoire) is presently at war caused by political crises. Rebels have already taken over the whole Northern part of the country and making efforts towards the capture of the commercial center of the country Abidjan, For this urgly development in that country, I have now decided to take quick actions ran into Togo and have this money transferred out of this country before it is too late. I spoke with the Director where the money was depositted and he advice me to look for a GOD fearing and honest foreign partner whom this money can be transfered to his account .  I am honorably seeking your assistance in the following ways:
(1) To assist me to transfer the money into your bank account.
(2) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and then settle there parmanently.  I will offer you 15% of the total money after transfer.
