"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good Day!!!!

Hello,

My message might come to you as a surprise since we have not met
before. Permit me to introduce myself to you, I?m a banker saddled
with the responsibility of auditing various government accounts and
during the end of 2013 auditing year, a few dormant accounts were
discovered owned by top politicians that siphoned funds to some
offshore accounts. However I?m am currently in need of an overseas
partner that could come into partnership with me in the transfer and
investing of these funds for our personal use. I would also be
grateful if you would help me in looking out for good investment
opportunities with my own part of the money in a very profitable
business. You can see that i do not have any problem dealing with
strangers, but my fear is how can i trust you? How do i believe that
you wont corned with the money when it gets to you? How do i believe
that you will keep my own share of the money when you receive this
fund. How do you convince me that you are not a greedy person? How
would you convince me to trust you? Can you buy my confidence? I need
some words of honesty and trust from you to zero my mind thinking
about you betraying me after my effort to have this fund released to
you. If you can buy my confidence,I will go into a possible agreement
with you, then you will see the both of us archiving greatness, and you
must keep this to yourself.its highly confidential and this should be
a secret between the both of us.I have evaluated risk letting this
deal out to you.if i happen to trust you and strike this deal with
you,you do not have to betray my confidence.and you must not let me
out to the authorities to destroy my career because you do not approve
my proposal to you. I prayed over this matter to be in connection with
a God fearing and trustworthy person who is not greedy but understand
the nature of this deal and humbly handle this matter with me in good
faith.and please, taking part in this deal is not mandatory as i am not
persuading you or placing you under Durex. if you are not interested
feel free to tell me. i will accept your refusal in good faith.just
indicate immediately so i will find another alternative.

Dr George Bruno
