"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: TTENTION: Bonafide Beneficiary / PRESIDENTIAL IRREVOCABLE PAYMENT AGREEMENT

Attention: The Bonafide Beneficiary

Sir/Madam,

Reference to the agreement made on 31st of January 2014 between the
U.S President (Barrack Obama) and the Nigerian President (Goodluck
Jonathan) including the U.S Ambassador representing the formalization
and revocation of the United States Financial impropriety which had
long forestalled the crediting of funds to some American Citizens who
have not received payment.

The U.S President and the Nigeria President, undertakes to and sworn
on the sovereignty of each country and hereby agreed to observe and be
bound by all the provision of the Presidential agreement in all
respects and to reverse the decree that is holding the release of your
fund.

Firstly, I am very sorry for the huge delays in bringing to your
notice that your payment is concluded and also to inform you directly
that the Bank has officially apologized for the delays and
inconveniences they have cost you in the past.

As obligatory, you are respectfully required to Re-confirm your full
bank account details and your ID or Passport for the recommendation of
the U.S Ambassador to Nigeria.

Note: Immediately the U.S Ambassador to Nigeria, gives a
recommendation for your payment, we will send you a copy of the
agreement between the (2) Two Countries President.
