"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

>From The Audit Officer!

My Good Friend,

My name is Mr.William Addison, an audit officer in Financial Bank. I need
your assistance because there is need for a foreign partner in this
business, that is why I am contacting you. In my department we discovered
an abandoned sum of EURO 7.5 Million Euros (Seven Million Five Hundred thousand
Euros) in an account that belong to one of our foreign customers Late
Engineer.A. Thomas ,an foreigner who unfortunately lost his life on a TAM
airlines commercial jet crashed in Sao Paulo, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 and
burst into flames after skidding off a runway and barreling across a busy
highway.

All 176 people on board were feared dead in what would be Brazil's
deadliest air disaster, and at least 15 were killed on the ground.

You can read more about the crash by visiting this site which I got during
my
investigation, Please try to go through the site.

Since we got information about his death, we have been expecting his next
of kin or relatives to come over and claim his money because we cannot
release it unless somebody applies for it as next of kin or relation to the
deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.

I will first transfer and deposit EURO 4.5 Millions Euros into your bank
account before the rest EURO 3 Million Euros as we plans for the fund transfer
into your bank account as next of kin to late Engineer.Thomas. I therefore
seek your consent to present you here as the Next of Kin to the deceased
since you are at an advantage to receive these money, because you a
foreigner . We will discuss more in details when I do receive your response.

Thanks and waiting for your urgent response.

Best Regards,
Mr.Willy
