"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I understand internet is not the best way to contact you for this business but I find it pleasurable and fast means to offer you our partnership. Our company is specialized in contract syndication, projects consulting, monitoring/supervision and management services.
 
I write to inform you of our desire to purchase and invest in real estates business in your country on behalf of the Director of Contracts and Finance Allocations of the federal Ministry of Works and Housing of my country.
 
We have made the necessary inquiries, and we have been informed that real estates business is very much available and can be obtained without any risk in your country. Hence our desire to have an overseas agent is very important. I have therefore been directed to inquire if you would agree to act as our oversea agent in order to actualize this transaction. I will arrange all payment of any expenses upfront to you to enable us make it happen.
You shall be entitled to 10% (i.e. US$3.5Million) of this fund for your envisaged efforts and assistance rendered and the remaining 90% (US$31.5Million) would be for our us. This proposal is strictly confidential, free from any form of risk and does not depend on any particular field of trade to execute. It however requires your adequate participation and support to enable its accomplishment on schedule.
