"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

Before I introduce myself and purpose of contacting you I would like you to
know my proposal is completely genuine partnership business and you are not
required by any means to pay or spend your personal money, so I urge you to
read carefully.

I am Hammad Mohammad, and I have a business partnership proposal for your
consideration, I'm broker and personal assistant to His Excellency Mohammad
Al Gergawi Minister of Cabinet Affairs Dubai, United Arab Emirates who
intend to invest $550 Million Dollars in an Oil Well project based in Texas
in partnership with a company I will tell you when you accept my proposal.

I would like you to make your own findings about the existing of this
company and the legibility to handle such project, the company CEO will
handover the project overall plan to you in your meeting next week, he will
fly in from Grenville SC and will be meeting with you for face to face
meeting as representative of His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi from Dubai,
you would be required to take total inventory of his business plan,
facilities on ground, study of required facilities etc.
I want to clearly state that the above company owner must not know you have
not been working for His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi over the years,
because we have to make him understand that you have been working with His
Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi for many years to gain maximum trust and
cooperation.

I need your total readiness so that I can ask the lawyer to prepare an
urgent agreement to start this partnership within you and us here, I will
be acting as representative for His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi while
you will act in our interest over there in USA. and for your reward, it
would be clearly stated in the agreement that you would be entitled to 0.5
% of the total income from investment, this investment would last for the
next 10/15 years and you would be paid continuously, please if you are not
interested kindly discard this email but if you are interested then we can
begging to work out modalities for meeting our partner this week in Texas.

Like I have said before you are not required to pay any money, this is
partnership business as you would be our contact representative in America,
so do no think this is a bogus email or scam and I would require you to
provide me with detailed email containing your credentials, Name, Address,
Phone Number, Age, occupation, and a scanned copy of your passport for
identification purpose only. To whom much is given much is expected and I
hope you would write a reply with first impression that is good enough for
us to work together.
