"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My miserable trip........ Glenda Cudaback

Greetings,

I'm
sorry I didn't inform you about our trip here in Kiev Ukraine. We came
here for a short family trip unfortunately we were robbed last 24hrs ago
at the park of the hotel we lodge. All valuables Cash and cellphone
including Credit card, are been stolen from us. Though our passport was
not destroy or damage.I had my credit card reported stolen and so it had
been declined by my credit card company and  i will be getting a new
one first thing on my arrival back home.

The Embassy and Police
here are not 100% supportive asking us to come back in 3 weeks time from
now.I can't wait until then... as our grand flight home is schedule in
the next 12Hrs from now.We are stranded financially at this moment.I do
not know who to run for help here at this time of ordeal. That is why i
am in need of your urgent financial assistance to pay for the hotel
bills, so our luggage will not be seized and we don't missed our flight.
Get back to me so i will let you know the easiest way to get the funds
to me.

We are depressed at this moment.

Very best regards,

Sincerely,

Glenda Cudaback
