"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

How are you?.I am Mr. Chun Wo,a financial analyst in Beijing ,China.Although we have not met in person, but I need your cooperation as a foreigner to claim a very huge amount of money and transfer to your account within few banking days. The transfer is risk- free and 100% safe ,as long as you follow the instructions and guidelines of the Foreign Operations Manager of CHINA MERCHANTS BANK,where the large sum of money was deposited without a beneficiary next of kin by Late Muammar Gaddafi, former President of Libya, in the heat of the Libyan crisis that caused his death.

In the heat of the uprising ,some of his monies were seized and assets frozen by most western countries,he[Muammar Gaddafi] then chose to divert some of his remaining financial deposits from the western countries to China and Russia that were the ONLY two countries supporting him. This was how Muammar Gaddafi deposited this huge amount of money at CHINA MERCHANTS BANK, without a beneficiary next of kin before he was later killed. The question now is who will claim this money?,as he[Muammar Gaddafi] had been killed with the rest of his family members during the conflict.

In view of this,i secretly contacted the Manager of the Foreign Operations Department of China Merchants bank, and inquired details of claim of the money,if the bank will accept a Foreigner who can pose as the family's next of kin to claim this huge amount of money, and the Foreign Operations Manager in his return email, briefed me,that if ONLY,the interested foreigner/Person follows and abides to their bank's requirements of Inter-Country transfer, then it will be 100% possible since the money has remained dormant and unclaimed for a long time. Therefore,if you agree,i can formally submit your detailed information as the beneficiary next of kin to this said funds, to the Foreign Operations Manager of CHINA MERCHANTS BANK,since you are a Foreigner to enable you claim the money .All you will do is to follow the bank's directives and guidelines for the release and payment of the money by the bank to you, since you are a foreigner who does not reside in China.Upon your interest, you will send me your below information to submit to the Foreign Operations Manager of CHINA MERCHANTS BANK for the payment proceedings:

1.Your Full Names.....................
2.Your Home Contact Address......................
3.Mobile Telephone number..................
4. Contact Address..........
5.Country of origin......
6.Age & position in office.............
7.Your international passport-- scanned and send via attachment......

I expect a handsome compensation from you as soon as you claim the money from the bank.

I await your email.

Regards,
Chun Wo.
