"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This fund have successfully been moved to a financial institution
in Malaysia, through the assistance of one of his former aides and
business associate,who is now late.

The fund was deposited with the financial institution, and it was deposited with
the name of this his late former aide and business associate, Dr.Tonye
Douglas as the beneficiary to avoid being traced by the present
government of my country and united kingdom police, where he is
currently serving jail sentence.

We cannot front any of our relative(s) or his aides for the claim of this fund
from the finance institution since we do not want the fund traced to
the former governor for obvious reasons,
as we are being monitored by the Anti-graft Agency of my Country as
all his known assets and funds has been confiscated and frozen all
over the world.

Hence, my decision to solicit for your assistance in this regard in order
to front you as the trustee to the late Dr.Tonye Douglas on whose name the fund
was deposited.

Upon your acceptance of my proposal, I shall have our family attorney
contact you for further directives on how to effect the change of your
name to read the beneficiary of this funds,
which shall facilitate the claim on your name as the trustee to late
Dr.Tonye Douglas and you shall be duly advice on what to do with the
funds once it is transferred to you in your Country.

We have considerably agreed to give you 30% of this funds as a compensation
for whatever assistance that you shall give in this regard,
while the remaining 70% shall remain in an account that you shall set up
in your country pending when the former governor will be out of the
British jail and need it, or otherwise.

I do hope that we can trust you with this funds, as it is entirely all
the family
is left with, which the former governor has plan to start life again
when all his problems are over.

In your response, please do not forget to provide your full name(s),
address, phone number and any copy of your identification,
as required by our family attorney for the facilitation of the necessary
paper works.

Thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,
