"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greeting.

I'm Philip Mark, a lawyer by profession of the Republic of Togo.

It might interest you to know that I have a client who died with the same
last name with you.

Mr. B.A.. arrived in Togo in 1978 and was working with Oil & Gas Company,
Lome Togo.

In 2005, before his death, I helped make a fixed deposit of U.S. dollars
15.3 million(fifteen million, three hundred thousand US dollars) payment by
the financial institution.

The bank has notified me to provide the family. I am contacting for two
reasons. First, both have the same last name, so that the claim more
credible. Secondly, I strongly believe that the financial firm does not
deserve to inherit the funds. With your permission, I would move to
establish themselves as family / beneficiary to my late client.

For details, write to my private e-mail (philip.mark67@gmail.com)

regards

Philip Mark.
