"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ACT AS OUR FRONT TO TRANSFER THIS FUND FOR JOINT INVESTMENT.!!

Sir

I am Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, the FORMER Foreign Affairs Minister and I
have been advised by the Finance Minister to contact you to act as front on
our behalf to transfer the sum of ($70.5million UNITED STATES DOLLARS ONLY)
into your account for our joint investment in your country from where the
funds is presently deposited.

Please be informed that this funds emanated from the ghost names being used by
some officials of the contract committee and it was discovered during my
Auditing with the finance Minister and he advised me to quickly contact you to
use your name as front to transfer out the fund to you in your country for our
joint investment in your country, because we can not transfer the funds to our
local accounts here as civil servants, following my idea that we will have a
deal/agreement and I am going to do this legally to avoid being questioned by
your government.

We will have 65%, and you will have 35% . PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH YOUR
INFORMATION FOR MORE DETAILS. I await to hear from you urgently, as time is no
