"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Consider urgent pls

Dear friend.
I should believe you still remember me thought i sent this message to
you last month before leaving Cotonou only to receive a note from the
woman that you have not claimed what i left behind for you
nevertheless, I am very very happy to inform you about my success in
getting those funds transferred under the cooperation of a new partner
from Hong Kong in Asia. Presently I am now in Hong Kong for
investment projects with my own share of the total sum after the
transfer of the fund. Meanwhile, I did not forget your past efforts
and attempts to assist us in transferring those funds despite that it
failed us some how. Now I'm out of Africa but I have left an
instruction behind for you in fulfillment of my vow to reward your
past efforts.

Now contact Becky Ama to collect a parcel i left behind for you, she
is the nurse that took very good care of my sick mother until we left
Cotonou,my mother is now okay after the Hong Kong medical experts
attened her case. So contact her, below is his personal contact:
Becky Ama
address; rue 7 ave jean pierre,villa 29,Cotonuo
Email: bbeckyama@gmail.com

Ask her to send you the wrapped packaged parceled envelope which i
dropped in her custody for you. I want to compensate you and show my
gratitude to you with the sum of $850.000[ seven hundred and fifty
thousand dollars].I have left an international certified bank draft
for you, worth about $850,000.00 cash-able anywhere in the world.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I DID NOT TELL HER THE REAL CONTENT OF THE PARCEL FOR
SAFETY PURPOSE. I only told her the parcel is card and photo that my
partner will reach her for the collection of the parcel. So feel free
and get in touched with the bearer and instruct her where to send the
package to you, send her your current address, telephone and full name
immediately.

Please do let me know immediately you receive it so that we can share
the joy after all the sufferings at that time. At the moment, I am
very busy here because of the investment projects, which the new
partner and I are having at hand but i promise to respond to your mail
whenever time permit.
With best love from me,
Oscar Douglas
