"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I work at foreign operation department at my bank, I have this opportunity to facilitate a transfer of a safe pouch to any foreign investor for investment purposes, the pouch is valued/estimated at ($4.2Million) The fund in the pouch belongs to our deceased customer who died as a result of bad health, leaving nobody for the claim and as such, I decided to contact you as to enable us claim the pouch. I wish to present you to the bank as the rightful beneficiary to the deposit of the late bank customer.


Your share of the said amount will be 40% while 60% will be for me. This transaction is guaranteed to be a completely risk free transaction. I will be looking forward to read from you your response and agreement in making this a reality.
