"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear Friend

Hello Dear Friend,

I am in need of your assistance, Am Sergeant  Hideo Milne  with the  united nations peacekeeping mission here in Syria, I have about 3.5 million US dollars that i want to move out of the country. I  need a good partner, someone  i can trust to actualize this venture. We got this money  from the rebels camp.

We had an open combat with Rebels in their camp and we are able to overpower them and they ran away from their camp. When we get into the camp we discovered some amount of United States dollars which they are using to sponsor their terrorist attacks in the Country. We tried to set the money on fire but at last we concluded to bring it to our base,And after our meeting  we decided to share the money among ourselves. We have shared the money and I have my own share of $3.500,000,

But i am moving it by diplomatic means to your house directly or a safe and  secured location of your choice using diplomatic courier services. But can i trust  you? Once the funds get to you, you take 30% out and keep 70% for me. Your part of  this deal is to find a safe place where the funds can be sent to. My own part is  sending it to you.

If you are interested, reply with my private email and I will furnish you with more  details.
Urgently awaiting your response.

Your Buddy.
Sgt, Hideo Milne.
