"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Are you dead? is Mr.Smith Morgan your partner? a letter was sent to the office of the Presidency from Mr.Smith Morgan stating that he is your partner that before you died you authorised that the part payment sum of US$7,500,000.00 ( SEVEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS ) should be transfered into the bank account of Mr.Smith Morgan. Are you aware of the letter?

The part payment sum amount of US$7,500,000.00 was approved by the office of the Presidency to be paid to you as one of the Beneficiaries owed here but this letter from Mr.Smith Morgan who claims to be your partner and who stated that you are dead have made the office of the Presidency to be very worried.

Kindly acknowledge this e-mail message to you by replying back and you are advised to call this telephone number +234 816 9103716 so as to enable me be rest assured that you are alive once I receive your reply and telephone call I will send a message to the office of the Presidency stating that you are very much alive so as to enable the office of the presidency to commence on how you are to receive the part payment sum amount of US$7,500,000.00
