"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: IN YOUR BEST INTEREST.

Attn: My Dear,

A beautiful day to you dearest in the Lord, I pray that my mail meets you in a good and perfect condition. I am Mrs. Jane fowler, an Australian by nationality and I reside here in Sydney Australia. My address is as follows 230 Walker Street North Sydney NSW, Australia. You probably might be wondering why you have received this email from me, my reasons for contacting you this beautiful day is to inform you that you are listed as a beneficiary in the 2014 IMF compensation list for fraud victims. I am a beneficiary of this compensation exercise and I have successfully been remitted my own Compensation prize remittance.

I was a victim of the Online Lottery Sweeps take promotion held in 2012 after receiving an email stating that I had won the lottery and should immediately file for claims of my money. I immediately did and that was the biggest mistake I had made in my life, because after that I was asked to commence my claims by paying for some documents to facilitate the release of my prize money which I did pay, and after that more reasons to pay more money arose from the claims office. To cut the sad long story short, I had paid a total of twenty five thousand dollars to the lottery claims agent and received nothing until I was contacted by IMF agent Rev. Dr. Joe Benson who revealed everything to me on the reasons why I had not received my funds.

He revealed a lot to me, that was when he showed me a list of people who are yet to receive their remittance, and that was where I saw your name. Rev. Dr. Benson invited me to the IMF office in New York USA.

While in his Office I was attended to by his secretary because at the time I came he was in a meeting, but in no time he was out to attend to me and he further explained everything to me about his investigation into my problems and the reasons why I had not received my funds was because I was dealing with the wrong person who was only ripping me off my money. With his assistance I was listed as a recipient for this year’s IMF compensation program which I received in less than twenty four hours after my identity had been verified and completed my registration. A telegraphic transfer was made to my bank account in Australia which I immediately placed a call to my personal banker to validate if the money had actually reflected in my account which he confirmed to me.

I am currently at the world cup in Brazil having the summer of my life, and all this was made possible through Rev. Dr. Joe Benson. For your own good I humbly ask that you contact Rev. Dr. Joe Benson today so he can assist you in laying claims to your Compensation like he assisted me.

You have to contact him directly on this information below.

Yours in Christ.
