"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I NEED YOUR ATTENTION

Good Day!

I am Shamim Alavi, the Son of late Dr. Mohamed Alavi, who was murdered in
the land dispute crisis in Ivory Coast. My late Father lived in a town
called Chinhoyi located in the heart of Murambinda about 120km from
Abidjan, the capital city of my country Ivory Coast. Chinhoy is largely a
peaceful farming area where one can own land and cultivate it. The relative
peace existing in Chinhoy and our lives were shattered with the beginning
of the ruling party sponsored land invasion by war veterans who we
suspected were acting with the backing of the Government.

My late Father was among the few rich farmers murdered in cold blood by the
agents of the ruling government of Political robbers. For this alleged
support and sympathy for the Ivory Coast opposition party Movement for
Democratic Change (MDC) controlled by the whites.

Before his death, my Father on one of his many trips abroad he took me to
Accra, Ghana to deposit a Consignment Truck Box that Contain the sum of
US$16 MILLION (Sixteen Million, United States
Dollars) with the ROYAL TRUST AND FINANCIAL SERVICE in Ghana with the aid
of a foreign partner which I am the next of kin to my father during the
deposited of the box as if he foresaw the looming danger in Ivory Coast.

I want you to know that I am from a home that can take an advantage that is
why I am reaching you through this means. I want you to kindly assist me by
being my foreign partner and you will also help me invest this money while
I continue my education.

As all your effort will be rewarded with 25% of the total amount of fund in
the truck box as your share and the remaining 75% will be invested in a
profitable business by you on my behalf and I will join you in your country
after my education.

I will send you an attachment to this email which you will find the
necessary proof of document of Deposit of the trunk Box including my late
father picture and my International passport for better Identification when
i hear from you. I will need your quick response to my mail to enable me
give you more information of the security company where my late father
deposited this money in order for you to communicate with the security
company to confirm the deposit and present yourself to them as my late
father's foreign partner as this is the agreement that my late father had
with them during the time of Deposit. He said to them that on no any
account should they release the truck box to me as the next of kin, except
I provide to them with a foreign partner who will help me to retrieve the
trunk box while I continue my education.

I plead you will not take undue advantage of as I have put all my trust and
confidence in you because I don't have any contact of my late father's
foreign partners to turn to for help that is why I am contacting you to be
my best of help.

Yours sincerely

Shamim Alavi
