"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR UNCLAIMED FUND WITH DIPLOMATIC SECURITY COMPANIES AND BANKS

We acknowledge the reciept of a mail from Audit and Account Departments of this agency instructing immediate processing of your fund payment under our custody, we would have responded to you immediately but we have to conclude the verification of your file, and forward them to our accreditted attorney (Lawyer) who has been assigned to procure and revalidate the expired documents in your files with United Nations Office here in london,upon the procurement of these document we will forward to you our "RELEASE ORDER" and assign a new diplomat that will deliver your consignment to you in any of our correspondent centre within your country. Furthermore, we have enclose a copy of our verification form, which you have to prinit out complete and return to our office, in a situation where you dont have priniter, you have to write the answers to the question, also you must adhered to the instruction on the form.., upon the reciept of the completed form , your fund or consignment will be approved for dispatch or transfer within 48hours to your nominated bank account or deliver to your house address. Therefore, the united nations legal secretary has advice that all the completed form should be sent to the office of Dr (Mrs) Veronica Lie, Head of Policy and Advocacy, for final endorsement . Meanwhile, all communication with past courier companies handling the delivery should henceforth stop as the united nations has been assigned to appoint a reputable security company to deliver the consignment mostly from our africa countries centres , such as Nigeria, Benin, Ghana and Ivory Coast) to our head office in london, for promt delivery to the beneficiaries countries.
