"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

However, he advised me to provide a trus= tee who will stand on my behalf. I had wanted to inform my stepmother about= this deposit but I am afraid that she will not offer me anything after the= release of the money.

Therefore, I decide to seek for your help in = transferring the money into your bank account while I will relocate to your= country and settle down with you. As you indicated your interest to help m= e I will give you the account number and the contact of the bank where my l= ate beloved father deposited the money with my name as the next of kin. It = is my intention to compensate you with 20% of the total money for your assi= stance and the balance shall be my investment in any profitable venture whi= ch you will recommend to me as have no any idea about foreign investment.
