"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I need your urgent assistance

Hello,
Good day my dear. How are you doing? I hope fine.
My Name is Mr.Jack Haris I am a banker by profession. I hail from Lome,
Republic of Togo West Africa. My reason for contacting you is to transfer
an abandoned sum of $8, 000, 000 (Eight Million US Dollars) to your account
without any problem. The owner of this fund was our bank customer who died
since 2004 along with his Next Of Kin. I want to do this business with you
to present you to the bank as the Next of Kin, since the beneficiary's
relative are nowhere to be found so that the bank here can remit the money
to you without any problem. I have in mind to share the money 50/50 with
you or we invest the money in building a Tourist Hotel or Real Estate or
into any other business you can advise me in Your country.
If you are interested and can receive the fund in your account, then kindly
get back to me so i can give you more details and next line of action on
how we are to execute the business as quickly as possible without any
problem.
Please, Email your Reply here: jackharris@outlook.fr
I await to hear from you today.
Best regards,
Jack Harris
