"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your prompt response is required.

I am Anton Vasile, The Operations Manager of the the Euromillion
Lottery, England.. I have contacted you based on a proposal that
requires strict
confidentiality and utmost sincerity. This proposal is worth
£1,045,504.00 (One Million, forty five thousand, five hundred and four
British Pounds) and I am willing
to issue you 40% of the total sum if you are willing to be my partner.

On the 28th June 2014, someone bought a Lottery Ticket from my region
in London Borough of Ealing and won the jackpot sum of £1,045,504.00
and until now we have not been able to locate this winner. Our rules
states that after 180 days if the person is not found, we would
declare the funds unclaimed and returned back to our treasury. It is
believed that the winner might be a Tourist as all efforts to locate
this winner until now has failed.

As the operations manager, I have been given the opportunity by
superior management to locate this winner within 30days and to me it
is an opportunity to hold as my verdict would determine the actual
course of this unclaimed prize..

All I need is a foreigner to act as the lost winner and all that would
be required from you if interested is to register and play the Lotto
online for free and my influence as the operations manager , I would
Backdate the ticket and alter the winning numbers to correspond with
the lost winning ticket of £1,045,504.00 and then submit a report
back that would make you the winner of this unclaimed sum.

I know this offer might seem overwhelming to you but I can assure you
that all necessary procedures and documentation for the legality and
successful finalization of this project is in perfect order and also
to guarantee further that it is risk free and without any hitch..

If interested, kindly reply through my private email below for a
detailed and comprehensive information about this project and if not
do show some courtesy and ignore this email.

I await your prompt response.
Regards,
Mr.Anton Vasile
