Subject: From Mr. Paul Bedford / Please Reply Urgently!

Bedford Farms (Pty) Ltd.

Burnside Mechanized Farm Area

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This letter might come to you as a surprise as we have not met before, but I believe that you would be compelled to help me after going through the contents of this letter. Before going into details of my proposal to you, I must first solicit you to treat this with the utmost confidentiality at it is required for it success. I am Mr. Paul Bedford, a divorcee and owner of Paul-Bedford Farms (Pty) Ltd, and the Vice President of The Commercial Farmers Union of Zimbabwe. I got your contact details from the directory on my search for a trustworthy person who can assist me in investing in your Country.

Basically, I was involved in Agricultural production, until August (2003), when the government of Robert Mugabe decided to seize all farm-land(s) owned by whites in Zimbabwe (without compensation). He (Robert Mugabe) did not stop at that; he also went on to expel all White farmers in Zimbabwe, He implored the services of his war veterans to undertake this seizure. The war veterans have been accused (correctly) of being behind the violent occupation of white-owned commercial farms in which an estimated 270,000 farm workers have been displaced. At least, over hundreds white farmers and black settlers have been killed since the farm invasions began in February 2000.

As at this moment, most of us have grudgingly gone back to Europe, while some (a few) of us are still in Zimbabwe, we decided that we must see this problem to the end. Though we knew that we were taking a great risk by staying here in Zimbabwe, at the moment our phone lines are bugged and all our movements are being monitored by the Robert Mugabe secret Police. We are now living as refugees in our own Country, we have taken our case to the United Nations and even with the sanctions from the West against the Zimbabwean Authorities, Mr. Robert Mugabe still remains adamant. He is insisting that our farm lands belongs to the (his) government of Zimbabwe.

In the 2002 as I heard the rumors about the possible seizure of our farm lands and our subsequent expulsion from Zimbabwe, I sold part of my farm lands and withdrew virtually all the money I had in Zimbabwean banks. Since I could not keep the money in Zimbabwe, I used the services of a Diplomatic Courier Company to move and deposited in private security company in our neighboring South Africa the sum of Eight million, seven hundred and fifty thousand United States Dollars (US$8,750.00) “Family Treasures”. Hopefully, it would be paid into any foreign private or company’s account that you can provide, even a new or empty account will serve.

All you need to do is to assist me transfer this money out to your Country from the Security Company. You will be required to contact the Security Company where the money is deposited as family treasures in South Africa. All necessary particulars which will facilitate and enable you claim the money on my behalf will be forwarded to you as soon as your consent to proceed is received. I am willing to offer you 20% of the fund for your assistance, you are also obliged to help/advice on the proper and most convenient way of investing the money in your country, since this money cannot be brought back to Zimbabwe as my plans to flee from this Country is under way. If you are still in doubt after the receipt of this mail, please do not hesitate to contact me and ask question(s) that might hinder your decision on this matter.

I await your favorable response, please reply via this email address bedfordpaul760@yahoo.co.za<mailto:bedfordpaul760@yahoo.co.za> for security reasons.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Paul Bedford.
