"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:
- This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.
- The following phrases in this message should put you on alert:
- "million us dollars" (they want you to be blinded by the prospect of quick money, but the only money that ever changes hands in 419 scams is from you to the criminals)
- This email message is a "dying widow" scam.

My name is Samira Williams. From Kuwait, i married to Mr. Josh Williams. Who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast before he died in the year 2005. When i got married to my husband we were living happily without problems. i never knew that however joyful life may be it must have it's tempting hours, my husband loves me so much and he cares for me as the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh. great love was existing between us we hardly has problems, but four years later i couldn't conceive, the members of my husband family assemble together and found occasion against me. Which was not giving birth to a child.
My mother in-law became more interested in this case. She was very angry and mad with me she does not want to set her eyes on me. She calls me all sorts of names good for nothing woman, whenever you see a woman looking desperately for the fruit of the womb pity her. in the bible God instructed husband to love their wives, my husband acted in obedience to God's command, but his people saw God's instructions as foolishness not knowing that the foolishness of God is wiser than men. it was a trial some and traumatic experience i don't wish any child of God to experience it.
More deep i think every day about my situation, asking why i should be in this problem and how long this difficult times will last, i didn't know that i have been under a curse, my step mother laid a curse on me that i will not conceive all the days of my life. This is a woman i love so much not knowing she was the one responsible for all that I$B!G(Bve been passing through. Her reason for this was i married before her daughters. By the time we discover why we have been in this problem our marriage was getting to fifteen years without child.
Suddenly i lost my husband in the year 2005. when my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of 2.5 million us dollars to the security company in ivory coast, recently i have serious sickness which is cancer problem, i decided to donate this fund to the orphans and widows in the church since i have no child, psalms 41vs1 blessed is he that considered the poor the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
Moreover my husband relatives did not know about this development, i don't need any telephone communication because of my health and my husband relatives around me always. Waiting for your response so that i will contact you to the security company here in Ivory Coast. Please always remember me in your prayers. The joy of the Lord is my strength Nehemiah 8vs10.
Remain bless in the Lord.
Mrs. Samira Williams.
