"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PROPOSAL FOR YOUR TRUST PARTNERSHIP FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT. PLEASE DO TREAT AS IMPORTANT.

Hello, Friend
Compliment of the day to you,
I am contacting you based on my zeal for partnership on a business which will benefit us mutually in the bank where i work. My name is George Tetteh. I work as a clerk and as a clerk i have access to a lot of secret because i handle the bank's most sensitive files.
On my duty recently i discovered a huge fund in my bank investment account with no beneficiary that means my bank has lost record of its owner. My contact to you is for a trust and honest partnership to stand as the sole beneficiary to this account.
Please this proposal is of great important and of good benefit with you and i will appreciate your kind response back to me to communicate further.
Thank You
Mr. George Tetteh
