"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

We have not able to carry out the Special shipment of your parcel from the Zenith Bank Plc containing ATM Visa card and documents with shipment Code AWB: 33XZS as scheduled and agreed with the bank for delivery since September 26, 2014.

Cause: Error in shipping address and HOLD order for not yet paid US$125 security and insurance fee.

As the delivery agent and to enable the delivery of your parcel next week Monday morning, I hereby advise that you send quickly the US$125 Security and Insurance fee in my name:

The UPS Logistics Services will provide you the Mode details and shipping label Special Shipment through electronic mail transmission as soon as the Security/Insurance fee is paid and confirmed.

If you fail to comply, you may come to pickup the parcel from our post office address at 319 Lafayette St, New York USA or UPS World Headquarters 55 Glenlake Parkway NE Atlanta, GA 30328 United States of America.

NOTE: If this fee is not paid, don't expect us to post the parcel from USA to your residence, you will be required to come in person to any of the above offices for identification and claim.
