"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: very urgent

money to your country for keeps and investment. The amount is
US$13,710,000.00 (thirteen million seven hundred and ten thousand U.S.
Dollars). The objective is for the protection and relocation of my family
to your country. My family needs urgent protection from the insurgency,
Boko Haram. The insurgency by Islamist militant, Boko Haram in Nigeria is
now a big treat to lives and properties. Recently I lost two of my
children in a bomb blast by the insurgent. It is pertinent to note that, a
state of lawlessness had begun to emerge in Nigeria states, spurred by
elements using terrorist tactics, with the ultimate objective of
destabilizing the Nigerian state. People now lives in fears. I considered
your country security and economy better and safer for settlement and
investment. It would be highly appreciated if you can be of help to my
present predicament. I look forward for your unflinching support to this
proposal.

Thanks in anticipation of your cooperation.

Yours truly,

Rev. A. George
