"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings!!!

Your early response to this message will be great and appreciated

I am looking for a prospective business partner in your country, with good investment project plan.

My name is Mr. Paul Barnett, I am working with Dana Petroleum as Managing Director, and recently held senior management roles for Hess Corporation in Libya and Russia.

This has made me relatively very busy as I am supervising the oil field contract previously under Bow Valley, I am supervising some of the oil exploration contracts at the North Sea. In the event of this, I got involved in a crude oil supply deal which promised huge returns, and you are invited to partnership with us in an investment of mutual interest worth of ¤35Million Euros.

We need to know if you will be able to handle a business transaction involving this amount of money after, which we will go into details to explain the simple detail of realizing this objective without delays.

I wait for your immediate response, as soon as you confirm this mail.

Respectfully,

Mr. Paul Barnett.
