"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Subject: How are you today?

With due respect, My Name is Daniel Nash Jr., the only son of (Late Mr. Maynard H. Nash) who died in Land dispute in Zimbabwe (19th March 2003).

There is problem occurred when our President Robert Mugabe introduced new Land Policy, which affected Foreign Farmers in Zimbabwe, this intimation Law specify that all the Foreign Farmers should surrender all their farmlands to President Robert Mugabe Party Members. My father was one of the farmers who were not in support of Zimbabwean Government new Law.

For this reason, the supporters came into our home and seized my father's properties and Farms Lands. My father Mr. Maynard H. Nash died of Heart-attack on the process.

Before this problem occurred, there is sum of US$15.5Million My Late Father deposited in one of the Security Company in Johannesburg South Africa as a Family Treasure to avoid much fees from the company. And this money was intended by my Late Father to establish new farms in Lesotho and Swaziland.

I have made up my mind to invest this US$15.5Million in your country. I will be much happy if I can hear from you, so that you can help me to open a Non-Resident account where the US$15.5Million will be deposited for onward transfer to your Country for investment.

I prepared 20% for your assistance, and 80% for my investment in your country, or anywhere you preferred safe apart from Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Please maintain the confidentiality of this matter to avoid the knowledge of our government, who bent to seize my father’s possessions.
Thanks and God bless
Daniel Nash Jr.
