"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Well, as it may interest you to know that I got your contact address from your country International Chambers of Commerce and I decided to contact you to assist me.

My name is Miss. Fatima Matuq, Female 23yrs and half by this month, am from Zawiya -Libya, North Africa, and the daughter of former Secretary for Utilities under the formal regime. I am searching for a trustworthy person who can assist me for my inheritance claim. He was arrested middle of last year by the Libya National Transitional Government Council.

However the new Government have destroyed and seized all our properties and blocked my father's account, after he had suffered big lost of his elderly son in the course of the war. And believe me, I know my country, because they know that my father was among the Inner Circle to Formal Libyan Leader, they will not leave him, definitely they will kill him if not yet killed already by this wicked fellows because since I left the country I have not heard news from my father. So, i am soliciting for your good assistance and kind support to help me realized this sum ($10.5 Million Dollars) which my father told me before his arrest that he left in his foreign account here in Burkina Faso in my name as his next of kin, which he instructed me to transfer it to abroad for safe keeping any time I get to this country Burkina Faso, and I need this fund to be transferred into your account for further investment in your country and under your good management.
