"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello dear friend,

I know this message will surprise you seen that there is no relationship
between us is because of the love I have for you makes me to trust you this
extent. I also do not like my uncle regrettable behavior.

I have a substantial capital I inherited from my late father late Mr.
Mohammed Massoumeh He was owner and manager of Massoumeh investment and
business Div. Ivory Coast also deal in Cocoa coffee plantation. My father
was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their business
meeting.

My beloved mother Hawa including my little brother Omar is in the village
at the moment I'm talking about. I intend to invest this money in your
country into a very good deal for the mutual benefits of both of us.

Before the death of my father to the hospital in Cocody Abidjan PISAM, he
told me of his deposit valued (2,500,000.00 Euros) which he deposited in my
name as the sole heir of his funds, all documentary evidence covering the
money intact.

Please, I am humbly seeking your help to make arrangements for me to come
to your country to further my education and also to obtain a residence
permit in your country for me. I am willing to offer you 15% of the total
funds as your compensation. We must be very fast please I do not want to
know about it until I leave this country.
