"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Attn: Dear.Your Overdue Payment Diversion Ready,

Attn: Good News.

I was instructed to contact you through your email by the new Central
Bank Governor, regarding to your overdue payment diversion in the past
as a result of Corruption. We hereby apologize for all the
inconveniences. And we are unable to locate all your complete payment
files.

In addition to stop doubting if really you are the truly bona fide
beneficiary of the said funds by name, been expecting the total sum of
US$7,5M through weir transfer into your account in your location from
our authorized paying bank. I beg your pardon, can you please prove
yourself by scanning your international passport copy and re-send with
your contact details in full for confirmation as soon as you responded
for claim without delay as instructed by the new Executive Vigilance
Authority. Your urgent responds is highly needed.

So therefore looking forward as you acknowledge this email asap and
claim your funds.
