"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Ths is Mrs. Augusta Pigliacelli Alautizi

  Dearest beloved,

It's a pleasure for me to call you on this regard. I'm Mrs. Augusta Pigliacelli Alautizi, I worked with French Multi-national Oil company in Porto-
Novo for Eighteen years before I retired as a result of sickness. I'm in hospital now for lungs cancer treatment; and recently my doctors told me that Imay have less than a month to live because normal cells that line lungs are increasingly damaged. I'm calling you for a good, I instructed Mr. Iyke Kadiri to send you a certified Bank draft of US$4.7m which I keep with him before traveling abroad for treatment.

I want you urgently to receive the certified Bank draft from Mr. Kadiri, i want you to donate 70% of the money to orphanage homes and take for your self the remaining balance of 30% for being honest. I took this decision after the death of my husband Nine years ago, because we don't have any child to inherit the money. I don't want a situation in which ungodly will take away and misuse the money if they heard that I'm dead. Contact Mr. Iyke Kadiri about it, I've informed him already my intentions about it that it's for charity purpose

Send to him your correct contact address and phone number to avoid mistake on delivery. This may be my last time to write you, I don't know but I have committed my life into God Almighty. May God bless you as you adhere to work accordingly to my directives. It’s from the bottom of my heart that I call on you concerning the promise by a vow.

Name: Mr. Iyke Kadiri
Email: iykekadiri@barid.com

Sincerely,
Mrs. Augusta Pigliacelli Alautizi
