"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR TREASURY CLAIM. ARE YOU STILL ALIVE? REMINDER NOTICE

Hi,

I am Diplomat Paul Pollard from the United Nations Security Council, UK Association and my diplomatic mission is based on Inter-Country shipments of classified items between North, South and Central American with other European and the Middle East Nations.

At this moment, I am in Atlanta Georgia, the United States of America for a Diplomatic Delivery of a classified material as requested by the Security Council Members. However, I must confess that during my arrival at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a routine check of all abandoned UN items was carried out with the head supervisor baggage service unit at the airport Storage Vault due to my role in diplomatic delivery missions and we discovered an abandoned shipment from Europe through transit at the J.F Kennedy Int Airport New York which from the Customs X-ray Ultra Scan results reveals that an undisclosed sum of money in two metal trunk boxes weighing approximately 35 KG each with (Internal dimension: W61 x H156 x D73 (cm). Effective capacity: 180 L) and after reviewing the details of the consignment as a registered UN diplomat, I discovered that the consignment contains your name and details as issued by the United Nations office in Geneva but was abandoned because the contents of the

Furthermore be informed that the reason why you have not yet been contacted for this claim by the authorities is because there was a recent application from a man called Nikolay Gladskiy who contacted the storage vault department of the Atlanta Airport and advised them that he is your next of kin, claiming that you are dead and by right he is entitled to claim your consignment trunk boxes containing 6.5 Million USD in our estimation according to the weight of the trunks which originated from Europe as family inheritance. So to enable me act as your newly assigned diplomat in getting the consignment trunk boxes cleared from the airport and delivered to you, could you please confirm if the email address used in sending you this message, which I saw in our records is still valid so I can be sure you are still alive and the claims of Mr. Nikolay Gladskiy is false because if we fail to hear from you in the next 14 business days, we will conclude that Nikolay's claim is right and shall have no other option than

Please note that this consignment is supposed to have been returned to the United States Treasury Department as unclaimed delivery due to the delays in concluding the clearance process with the previous diplomat responsible for this delivery. So as a result of this, I have taken it upon myself to contact you personally about this abandoned shipment because I want us to transact this business and share the money since the consignment has not yet been returned to the United states Treasury Department after being abandoned by the shipper. So immediately the confirmation is made, I will pay for the United States Non Inspection Fee and arrange for the boxes to be moved out of this Airport to your address. Once we are through with this process, I will deploy the services of a secured shipping Company geared towards providing the security it needs to your doorstep. Or I can bring it by myself to avoid any more trouble. But I will share it 70% for you while 30% for me but you have to assure me of my 30% share. Below

Regards,

Mr. Paul Pollard
