"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I wish to remind you about your ATM Master Card.

Hello my good friend,

I hope you are well?

My name is Robert Morris the newly appointed manager with Heritage Bank UK, England,THREADNEEDLE Branch with Code number (555) I was going through some files presented in my office table here before me when i came across your outstanding payment file, this payment was arranged by the Fund Control Agency I.M.F controlling all African banks and other  financial institutions because they found out the high rate of corrupt African banks officials and other financial institutions there.   I wish to remind you about your ATM Master Card which was fully credited in the ATM Card section and ready for delivery to you so far, I want to also remind you that your USD2.500,000.00 (Two Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) which was credited inside your master card is still intact but to be honest with you i do not understand the reason why you have been silent without asking about your ATM card, could you please explain to me what the problem is all about and what you think i should do at this point, because the bank keep on giving me reminder, asking about my client which is you and i do not no much of what to tell them, so it's very important that you get back to me so that i will know next step in this matter, at least i need to know what to explain to bank management regarding your transaction, if you have decided to abandon your ATM Master card you let me know or if you still want to receive your ATM Master card with fund you let me know, any way that you think that's more better for you to receive your fund then i have to also know, so i just need to know all i have to do please, because I need to know the report to write about your fund with Card in the Bank.

Thank you very much for your understanding. Please get back to me via
my private email address: romorris58@gmail.com

Regards,
Mr. Robert Morris.
