"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,
My name is Dr. Chem Vuth, I am the senior auditor of Acleda Bank of
Cambodia. There is a bank account in my bank branch that has been dormant
for many years. After my investigations I discovered that this dormant bank
account belongs to a foreign customer of my bank that died in a plane crash
without having a next of kin. As a matter of urgency, I want to present you
to my bank as the beneficiary next of kin to the late client of my bank so
that the total sum of £5,000,000.00 (Five Million pounds) will be released
and paid to you as the beneficiary to the deceased bank customer.

At the end of this transaction you shall have 50% of the total inheritance
fund and i shall also take 50%. I believe in equality that is why I want us
to share the money 50/50.

I will provide you with all the necessary information, documents and proof
to legally back up the claim from the different offices concerned for the
smooth transfer of the fund to any of your bank accounts as the true
beneficiary. If this proposal satisfies you, please reply urgently to my
private email (cheemvuth@gmail.com) and give me the following
information's: YOUR FULL NAMES, YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, AGE, SEX,
OCCUPATION and your NATIONALITY.

I anticipate your urgent response to enable us proceed further.

Yours Faithfully,
Dr. Chem Vuth
