"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re: CONFIDENTIAL

 Hello,

I am Mr. Ousmane A. Kabre, a Libyan citizen presently living in Burkina Faso on exile since the dead of President Gaddafi.

I worked under President Gaddafi as a security guard and i managed to run out of Libya during the revolution that took the life of Gaddafi.

I am now in Burkina Faso an i need your urgent business co-operation and assistance as a foreign partner.

I have 265killograms of Gold bars an the sum of $25,000,000 (twenty-five million american dollars) that I deposited in a security transit company here in Ouagadougou, the capital city of the republic of Burkina Faso in west Africa.

I need an urgent buyer for my Gold. I am selling at a reasonable price below world market price.

Please contact me for more details so that we can make plans to move my Gold and money from the security company to your country.

If you cannot buy the Gold, then you can act as my agent in your country to look for a good buyer and you will get your commission from me.

I will also give you a percentage from the total amount of my money at the end of this transaction.

I wait to hear from you as soon as possible.

Accept my cordial greetings.
Mr. Ousmane A. Kabre.
