"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please excuse me if I have infringed into your
privacy. This may be strange any way, but I have no option than to mail
you. I am Madam Nenita williams Martin, from Sierra Leone by
nationality, widow to the late former minister of finance in Sierra
Leone who died on 15th of May 2005. I inherited a total sum of $ 4.5
Million American dollars from my late husband, The funds was deposited
in the bank in Lome Togo, I will like to transfer the funds to you in
your country for investments.

I want an account overseas where i
can transfer this funds this is because i have suffered a lot of set
backs. The death of my husband has really brought sorrow to my life. My
main purpose of sending you this mail is because of the way I found you
and perhaps trustworthy persona.
