"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dearest,

 Hello Dearest,
I am Miss Sylvia Perth,i'm 20 years of age,I am a British by Origin ,i have been in Nigeria
for 10 years after the death of my mother in an auto accident.

I came to Nigeria with my Dad who had a Timber Exportation Company in Borno State which he has been
operating for over 20 years.

Due to the nature of his Company business, his Timber company was located in a Village which today has been burnt down by
BOKO HARAM in Nigeria, killing my Father ,his driver and 15 of his workers, till today nothing the Federal Government has
done to help me as a foreigner, but they only moved i and many other displaced persons from Borno state to Abuja, the
federal Capital of Nigeria.

As i write to you ,i am in a camp for displaced person, the hardship here i have never experienced in my Life,i feel so
unease and insecure here in the Camp,no good water,no good food nor doctors to attend to the sick, people are dying of

starvation and disease.

My only Joy and happiness now is that i have access to my fathers email address, which i will want to use in dealing with

you,i have also been to my Late Fathers bank to Notify the Bank Manager of the death of my Father, and seek his

assistance to allow me have access to Fathers account which the Bank Manager told me is worth $5.7 Million usd with some

fractions included,do you know what?,he said that i am the Beneficiary and next of Kin to his Estate, but there is a

clause which states that there is no way i can access this account until i am 25 years of age before i can be allowed

access to this Funds.

But the Bank Manager advised that with my situation i should seek a foreigner who can help me receive my Inheritance

Funds out of the Country, which he said is the best alternative to me having access to this money.

This is why i have contacted you after speaking to the Bank Manager, can you be my foreign beneficiary and help me

receive my Inheritance funds ,after which you will help me make my traveling papers to come over to your Country to

start a new life.

Here is my email address,we can communicate through here  :  sylviaperth@gmail.com

I await to hear from You.

Miss Sylvia Perth
