"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello dear friend,

Hello dear friend,
My name is Amina Jones, an American citizen residing in Ghana. In my time here, I have been privileged to meet Ghanaian Royalties and Captains of industry.
In this time, during one of my many political liaison. I learnt that the former Presidentof Libya, Muamarr Ghadaffi made a private deposit of 180 kg of Gold bars and dust  together with diamonds with a cash deposit of $4,000,000 in one of the famous security company here in Ghana.
This information is privy to only a select few, who know about the existence of this stash. There exist a clause in the deposit papers that make it possible for a change of ownership or claim by a Libyan citizen or someone of Arabian or better still any individual that is capable to handle this heritage and the Ghanaian authorities are ready to cooperate, in consideration of a share of 10% (Negotiable).
It is on this regard they have mandated me to search for someone willing to cooperate and release this Treasure. If you are interested in this offer, you can send me a mail for further follow up and verification. Reply here via my private e-mail (aminajones609@yahoo.fr)
YOURS SINCERELY
Miss. Amina Jones.
