"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Can You handle This Project ?.

Good day Sir.

I am contacting from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) I will like to work with you on this project only if it will be of your interest, I am the committee chairman contract award and execution monitoring of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), My committee was set up to award contracts to contractors, monitor the execution and approved for it's payment on completion of the contract by the contractor.

There is contract I awarded to a Greece contractor, (name withheld) for security reason, this contract was over invoiced to a huge sum in usd,I personally oversees the contract to it's completion but it was so unfortunate that the contractor died on completion of the contract, this happens years back but since then I have been working underground putting everything in other for the approval of the payment to the contracts next of kin, now I have gotten the approval from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to pay this contract payment which had being floating in escrow account of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

I am contacting to allow me present you as the contractor's next of next so that the approved contract payment will be transfer to your account for us to share. I will send you more details of this if I hear from you.

My best regards.

Bernard Otti.
