"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

MESSAGE FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION:

On a second attempt, I try again to reach via this same email contact, as
my earlier attempt was returned undelivered.

This letter is intended to accomplish the mandatory legal requirement of
notification and also to request your immediate cooperation in a matter
requiring urgent attention.

I head the portfolio department with a deposit/safekeeping company and
have managed a particular account for an intestate client. To avoid a
situation the account is declared dormant and becomes unserviceable and/or
confiscated... gives the reason this contact became necessary, needing
your representation.

I hereby, humbly seek your consent to a mutual understanding to secure the
deposit on both our behalf.

Be assured all legal and mandatory requirement will be duly followed and
the process executed under every legitimate background without breach of
any law, guaranteeing it be approved and signed off to you.

Your kind consideration and swift response is anticipated and I'll bring
you into a clearer picture when I hear back from you.

Yours truly,
L. Enkema Farris.
