"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention:

My name is Barrister David Lawrence Kay and am 51-years old, Am from a WESTERN-AFRICA
country called COTE D'IVOIRE known as (IVORY-COAST) But i base and Live here in England after
finishing my Law Institute in Switzerland as a SOLICITOR, I decide to finally move to England to start
up a career as an attorney but it has been a bit difficult, I have been working as an Attorney for past
11-years now, well my main reason why i contacted you was to share my proposal with you,I work as
an attorney for an old lady named (MOTHER CATRINA HAWK) & her husband( MR FARM-WORTH HAWK)
, i have been their attorney for over 9 years before she and her husband passed away, (MR FARM-WORTH )
died of Cancer and (MRS CATRINA HAWK)died of a deadly disease called Alzheimer early 2010(MAY
THEIR SOUL REST IN PEACE) they are both nice couples, they have an Investment which they deposited
with a company in ENGLAND before passed they away but they have no families or relatives that has e
ver visited or been introduced to me since i have known them, Now they are dead the company want
their investment away from their possession, I have visited the company many times as their attorney to
release the said investment to me but the company refused and I was instructed to find their family or
relatives who can stand on their behalf before the Investment can be released, I have tried family tree to
locate anyone but nothing worked out, right now i don't know what to do because have done everything in
my power which was my reason for registering on LinkedIn in search of whom can be trusted with this
proposal, I believe you are highly suited to stand as a relatives to Mother Catrina and her husband
Mr Farm-worth hawk so that the company can release the said investment to you, i know this might
sound impolitely but i cant allow the company to hold down this investment because i know how much
it worth, The said investment has been deposited with them for over 14-years now even before i became
their attorney but because they have no families i know about, the company refuse to let me be in charge
of the investment and they have been really hard on me.

Whatever information's the company would request including the certificate used to deposit the money
into the company shall be provided because i handle all their documents, All you just need to do is stand
as their relatives and get the investment away from their possession, I know you can be trusted which is
why have contacted you but my fear is i hope you are not going to betray me at the end of this whole
proposal.

Please try and reply back as soon as possible but let me know your opinion as well about this proposal
before we proceed further.

Thanks once again for your time.
Barrister David Lawrence Kay
