"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,

I am Professor Tunde Adeniran, the Deputy Director General of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organization Abuja, Nigeria. I write to seek you cooperation in a very urgent Business proposal.
The Goodluck Campaign Organization is charged with the responsibility of campaigning and fund raising for the President Goodluck Jonathan re-election bid for Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by February 14, 2015.

Our committee/organization is in charge of raising monies for the re-election of the president for his second tenure in office. We have been able to raise a huge amount for the re-election of the President mostly from monies from the crude oil subsidy and other donors. We have been able to raise a large amount to the tune of USD340, 000,000.00 (Three hundred and forty million dollars) for the campaign.

The funds are currently being disbursed for the campaign activities, as elections are very close by.  My partners and I have a reserved a part of the total amount as these were accrued from over inflation of some of our programs to our donors/ subsidy surplus, this  amounts to the tune of  USD42, 000,000.00 (Forty- Two Million United States Dollars) kept aside for ourselves in a bank  here called Zenith Bank PLC. This is however our banking institution for the Goodluck Campaign Organization here in Abuja

We now seek a foreign partner who would help us provide a foreign account to receive this fund abroad as we are currently civil servants and cannot operate a foreign account. We therefore need you to partner with us so you can provide an account to receive these excess funds of USD42, 000, 000.00 (Forty- Two Million United States Dollars) we have kept aside for ourselves

We have agreed to compensate you with 20% of the total amount while my partners and I keep 75%, while 5% will be of expenses if any.

This transaction is to be kept highly confidential as we are currently serving in the government now and considering the huge amount involved here.

I will appreciate, if you contact me urgently for further details

Regards

Prof. Tunde Adeniran
