"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Business Proposal

 Dear Prospective Partner,

How are you? I hope you are fine. My name is Mr. Bamba. I am the Purchasing Manager of GSK Pharmaceutical Company in Agbara-Nigeria. I got your esteemed contact information from a trusted portal. I have a business proposition that will be of mutual benefit to you and me. I would like you to supply a rare medicinal herb to our company. Our company uses this herb for the production of Ebola vaccine and its very scarce and rare to find. This vaccine has been tested positive for the eradication and treatment of Ebola, especially in West Africa where the dreaded disease has killed over five thousand in Siera Leone, Liberia, Nigeria and Guinea.

Recently, through an error made by the farmer who cultivates this herb, I was privileged to know that it is sold at the price of $1,250 per 20grams weight. But it is supplied to our company at the price of $1,850 per 20grams weight by our supplier. This shows that the supplier makes a profit of $600 on each 20grams weight. Our company orders a minimum of 5000 pieces and a maximum of 10000 pieces every three months. The good thing about this supply business is that our company will make a moblisation payment of 50% of the total amount in advance to the supplier for every supply to be made. This is because the herb is in high demand at the moment.

Therefore, what I want you to do now is to take up this supply contract and it doesn't need any formal experience, and it does not matter whether it is your line of business or not. You shall buy the herb at the cost of $1,250 per 20grams weight and supply to our company at the cost of so you can make a profit of $500 per 20 grams weight. I shall be available to give you all the necessary guidance and advise you need including the contact information of the farmer where you can buy the sample for lab test. Our company needs 2,500 pieces urgently for this first quarter of the year. Because I am your secret partner as well as the Purchasing Manager, I will make sure that your sample is certified OK after the lab test so the supply contract will be granted to you.

All I want from the business is 30% of the profit while you take 70%.

If you are interested, please indicate your interest by sending me your full contact information, including your means of identification so I can send you a draft sample of the application letter you shall write to our company, applying for the supply of the herbs. I am expecting your earliest reply through my email: abamba1963@yahoo.com

Yours sincerely,
Mr. Bamba
