"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CAN YOU ASSIST ME?PLS READ MY EMAIL"

Sir/Ma,

My name is Ahmed Toro from Libya. One time personal assistant to the
Late President Muammar Gaddafi I was arrested by the Rebels and later
escaped from the detention by the assistant of one of the Rebels
soldiers that killed the late President.

However I escaped to Nigeria through Cameron because the Niger route
was completely blocked then, later I moved to Niger through Nigeria. I
was uncomfortable in Nigeria I lost the whole money I had on me in
Nigeria to criminals. I am writing you for your help to have the
amount of $5.6M deposited on my name by the late president which he
wanted to use for politics then since the world is calling for
democracy in Libya.

I need your help and support to have this fund claimed and I am going
to give you 35% of the fund as soon as you claim it on my behalf.
Please I will be happy to have your full name, country address and
cell phone number also like to know what you do.

Thank you.
Ahmed Toro.
