"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

I am Amina and I represent the interest of my brother in-law who is a top Government official in Syria. As you may
know, there is crisis in Syria.Due to this,my brother in-law fell out with the ruling Junta and is currently under house arrest,or I fear the worst because he has been incommunicado for the past 3 weeks. He had planned ahead for the unexpected and asked me to find someone/company that can accommodate and possibly invest $20 Million US Dollars privately. Hence my reason for contacting you.
We need you to work with us to receive the funds into your bank account anywhere suitable. We will handle the logistics involved.

NOTE:My brother in-law will compensate you with 10% of the $20M. For obvious reasons, this information should remain highly confidential.
I will be acting as his eyes and ears during the course of this transaction. If can act as required, kindly respond ASAP so we can go through the details.

Regards,
Amina
